The designer took all the good stuff that made the "Tahiti Ketch" famous, and added larger sail area, an improved ballast displacement ratio, and a stern/forefoot/keel configuration that has markedly improved windward sailing ability.

The "Tahiti Rover" has the most favorable prismatic coefficient and ballast displacement ratio.

The "Tahiti Rover" fills a growing demand for an easy-to-maintain steel yacht incorporating the grace and safety of a traditional rig.
