ON OUR WAY represents an extremely well-cared-for 80’ Outer Reef that has undergone substantial, critical upgrades throughout her current ownership. Mechanically, she has completed a top-end rebuild of her C18 Caterpillar engines, including a full exhaust replacement, and her Northern Lights generators have been fully serviced. Additional major work includes replaced shafts, new engine and gear mounts, a rebuilt hydraulic system, new battery chargers and batteries, new inverters, and new shore cords with shore power boosters. The HVAC system has been completely overhauled with new circulation and raw-water pumps, along with new frequency drives.
A new Garmin electronics package was installed, complemented by Starlink connectivity and a new AV system. The interior has been fully refurbished with new stonework, furniture, and carpeting throughout.
Completely turnkey and ready to cruise anywhere in the world, ON OUR WAY is a must-see.

Boarding can be via the swim platform, boarding gates to port and starboard opposite the pilothouse doors or at the aft deck gates. Ascending one of the twin stairways from the teak swim platform, you will note the inboard as well as outboard handrails. This represents one of many design enhancements that add to the comfort and safety of those on board. The open aft deck is covered overhead with wing doors to port and starboard. There is a staircase to port leading to the boat deck and a storage cabinet to starboard. A built-in settee and 4 teak chairs and a large teak table will comfortably seat 6 to 8 for dining. Again, the owner has employed an additional safety feature by having a hatch entry to the crew’s quarters and lazarette below on the aft deck. This second entry/exit is for safety when sea conditions prove too hazardous to access the crew’s quarters and lazarette through the transom door, and an additional exit from the crew quarters in the case of an emergency.
Double doors lead into the main salon. The 21’ plus beam of an Outer Reef adds great volume and gives the feel of a much larger yacht. The interior paneling was upgraded to cherry wood throughout. An L-settee, easy chair, and custom coffee table are to port, and an entertainment center and 2 custom chairs are to starboard. A formal dining area is just forward of the settee with a custom glass dining table and four chairs.
A wet bar with a U-line ice maker and Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator are to starboard as well as a custom cabinet with racks to hold glassware and china. Step up to a fully equipped galley. Appliances are paneled in cherry; countertops and backsplashes are finished with granite. There is ample storage for all cooking equipment, and custom drawers were built for cutlery and flatware. To starboard is a full-height custom glassware and plate cabinet as well as a pantry for additional storage. Forward is the dayhead.
The pilothouse helm station has a full suite of newly installed electronics. This professionally designed system features top-of-the-line equipment and also includes many backup systems for redundancy and safety. There are pilot and co-pilot helm chairs as well as a large U-settee with table.
Stairways leading both below to the guest quarters and up to the flybridge are to starboard. Outer Reef’s trademark Deluxbridge provides an expansive layout with voluminous storage areas. There are pilot and co-pilot Stidd helm chairs, a full beam helm with complete Navionics, a custom-designed chart well, L-settees to port and starboard each with a Corian-topped hi/lo table, a wet bar w/refrigerator/ice maker and a gas BBQ grill. A gas alarm was also installed to monitor the propane tanks-another safety feature proposed by the owner.
Gates open to the boat deck, which holds a centerline, heavy-duty, and 2,000 lb. davit for lowering tenders and life rafts either to port or starboard. The boat deck was strengthened, and rails were modified to allow for this feature.
Below deck are 4 staterooms and 3 heads, each with a shower. Forward is the VIP cabin with an overhead, watertight hatch/skylight, queen berth with drawer storage below, 2 cedar-lined hanging lockers, storage cabinets on port and starboard bulkheads, and an ensuite head w/shower. Just aft is the port guest cabin. This cabin has twin berths with drawer storage below, a nightstand and a cedar-lined hanging locker. This room, too, has an ensuite head & shower which is shared with the starboard cabin. Passing the port cabin, the washer/dryer and linen closet are to starboard. The starboard guest cabin has over-under bunks, storage, and a cedar-lined closet.
The master suite is full beam amidships. There is a centerline king berth with a custom headboard wall. There is a vanity and drawer storage on both the port and starboard bulkheads. The vanity includes a custom mirror. Aft is the head, which features, as do all the heads on NV, granite flooring and countertops. The large walk-in cedar-lined closet is to the starboard side.
The engine room can be entered from the master stateroom’s closet or from the swim platform transom door. The engine room is laid out in a manner that assures easy access and ample space to work on all equipment.
Aft of the engine room are the crew’s quarters or fifth guest cabin. There is a double cabin and full head with shower to starboard and a crew lounge area and galley to port. A large storage area with a washer/dryer is aft of the crew lounge, and a watertight transom door opens to the swim platform.
