The 2016 Wellcraft Coastal 252 is a compact walkaround cuddy cabin sportfishing boat designed for coastal and nearshore fishing, with some overnighting capability. It blends fishing functionality with a small cabin for comfort, making it suitable for day trips, fishing, and limited cruising.

With the 300 HP, it planes quickly (~4–5.5 seconds), cruises efficiently around 30+ mph, and tops out in the low-to-mid 40s mph range. Owners report solid handling, a stable platform for drifting/anchoring, and a relatively dry ride thanks to the bow flare. Fuel economy is decent for its class, especially with a single larger outboard.
