Introducing Loco, a Farr Design vessel, built by Carroll Marine. Formerly known as Panama Red. This high-performance offshore racer has an impressive pedigree, having competed in international regattas and offshore events such as the Transpac to Hawaii.
Loco has been sailed exclusively in freshwater since 2018 and is currently located on Lake Ray Hubbard, just 30 miles east of downtown Dallas, Texas.
Designed by Bruce Farr and built for speed and agility, Loco features:
- Deep fin keel with a draft of 7’5”, ideal for upwind performance
- Beam of 11’10”, providing stability and cockpit space
- Lightweight epoxy hull, painted red
- Yanmar 3GM diesel engine with 1,637 hours
- Full suit of North and Quantum sails, including 3Di mains and spinnakers
- Rod rigging, adjustable backstay, Tuff Luff, and Lewmar winches throughout
