Naval Architecture
- Most of the drawings and calculations have been completed. The remaining and required shop drawings along with 3D drawings (including piping, penetrations, foundations etc. are necessary to complete the construction. Additional Class Drawings, A type remarks and others requested by class society will also be needed. Please see Class Drawing and remark reports below;
- Many shop drawings and detailed design works are still needed.
- The conceptual design works for both interiors and exteriors have been completed by Red Design. The shop drawings and detailed drawings will be done by the Furniture Maker.
Steel hull construction completed and accepted by Class surveyors (RINA), including ndt and ultrasound checks and tank tests, only several outfitting hot works remaining on hull.
The construction of the aluminum superstructure including hardtop, has been completed.
All manholes have been manufactured and installed. All soft patches for main engines, gensets, bow thruster, etc. have been produced and installed.
- All tank fittings are installed, and pressure tests of all tanks have been performed and accepted by Class Surveyor.
- All watertight doors under main deck purchased and welded. All porthole frames have been manufactured and welded.
- A60 doors at the garage area are installed.
- All freeing ports have been installed. The steel and aluminum surfaces on superstructure sides in the windows areas determined and constructed
- All hatches have been purchased and the hot works for the openings are completed.
- The elevator box, its platform & the main stairs have been constructed. Additionally, the steel boxes, for the side boarding ladders are also constructed.
- Anti – rust treatment necessary at certain locations.
- The aluminum structure construction of the following areas has been completed.
- Main & Upper deck seating groups, Pool & pool area,
- Storage places front of the Wheelhouse,
- Store places on the upper deck aft bulwarks,
- Wing stations
- Fresh Air Units’ boxes
- Stainless steel windlass trays, chain pipes and anchor plates have been produced and installed. The installation of additional plates around anchor plates has started. Stainless steel fairleads have been completed and installed in the bow area and amidship.
- Dumbwaiter cut-out has been completed on both decks.
- The construction of additional frame supports under gen-sets has been completed in accordance with Notilus Design's Drawings.
- Exhaust outlets for engines and gensets have been produced and welded onto the shell, ultrasound checks have been performed and approved by RINA
- The installations of wheelhouse floor gratings are completed.
- The foundation for the SOLAS crane has been welded on deck.
- A60 doors for the guest areas have been purchased, stored in shed and hot works for the door openings are completed.
- Stern, Tender garage & jet-ski garage doors have arrived, and the required checks have been conducted with the Surveyor and Manufacturer. The drawing for additional supports has been done and approved by RINA. The installations of these doors including tender garage, jet ski garage doors and the stern door are now complete.
- Pantograph doors have been ordered from Bofor and the hot works of their openings have been completed.

- All surfaces must be checked and painted with anti – rust primer.
- All tanks have been sandblasted. Fresh water tanks, grey and black water tanks, bilge and sludge tanks have been epoxy painted according to the instructions of the paint manufacturer, TEKNOMARIN.
- Additionally, all steel areas inside the hull have been sandblasted and painted with epoxy primer to a 200 microns dry film thickness also following the instructions of TEKNOMARIN.
- Sandblasting and priming works on the outside hull surfaces including under water area, above water line area, main deck (all steel parts) and aluminum areas on the superstructure, upper deck & sun decks have all been finished.
- Epoxy filler application to fair the surfaces has been started. Nearly, all of the hull, excluding, aft area starting behind the ER fwd bulkhead to the stern are filled. The same job on the superstructure has also been completed. Filler
- Filler applied on the openings of the pantograph doors area to facilitate work on the templates. The manufacturing of the templates is completed, and they have been sent to the manufacturer; they are under production
- U profile installation works, for sandwich panel walls on tank deck area, have been completed. Rockwool insulation works commenced prior to the panel installation. Insulation pins have been stud welded on all steel areas. Rockwool insulation sheets have been installed on some areas on the tank deck and lower deck.
- Bi-metal insulation pins stud welding works inside both galleys are finished, and the process has started on the surfaces of the galley walls.
- All aluminum interior areas have been sandblasted, and insulation pin stud welding has been installed on these surfaces. All these areas have already been painted. All paint work must be inspected and repainted where necessary.
- A60 insulation has been completed in ECR and the switchboard is installed
- Wall panel frames have been manufactured, and the panels are temporarily installed. Some penetration drawings are needed to complete this work on ECR
- Damping plates have been applied on engine room front bulkhead in lower deck and whole main salon floor (engine room ceiling) and air ventilation channel on Main Deck and bow thruster tunnel and around.
Crew cabin partitions and raw wood furniture construction works are completed on the lower Deck. All this furniture has been dismantled & stored. But, since a long time has passed, the bare wood and plywood furniture have deformed and will need to be remade.
The dunnage material for lower deck and main deck floor has been imported and stored in the shipyard along with some ply-wood and bare partitions.
Deck Doors & Locker Doors
- All deck doors have been purchased. However the pantograph doors have not yet been delivered from Bofor. The inox doors, purchased from Tecnoinox and the hinged doors for the upper deck and main deck, purchased from Cosmo, have not been installed.
- Need to be purchased.
- All purchased except new requirements for stern door access hatches. These two need to be ordered.
- Interior fire doors purchased from AP Marine have not been installed.
- Frames for watertight doors on bulkheads have been installed and hinged watertight doors purchased from Cosmo are installed.
- All shell door frames have been welded with doors onto the hull, but the installation works, including hydraulic and electric components have not started yet.

- Two DATA DZC 5000-2 Electrical Windlasses are stored at the Shipyard. Stainless Steel Windlass base was done.
