Description

The Cape Dory 330 is a classic fiberglass sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Carl Alberg and built by Cape Dory Yachts in the United States. Produced from 1985 to 1988, only 27 units were constructed, making it a relatively rare model. It features a long (full) keel for stability and tracking, and a cutter rig configuration, which allows for versatile sail handling—ideal for offshore cruising or heavy-weather sailing. The 330 is essentially an updated version of the earlier Cape Dory 33, with refinements like a teak companionway ladder, increased water capacity (85 gallons vs. 74 in the 33), and a slightly larger sail area. It's known for its seaworthiness, traditional lines, and comfortable interior layout, including a V-berth forward, head with shower, and settees that convert to berths.
