Description

The "Poseidon" is a CM 60 offshore racing sailboat designed by Bruce Farr and built by Carroll Marine in 1998. She is currently moored in the Bay of Islands, NZ. The yachts previous names were "Hi Fling", "Numbers" and "Stars & Stripes". She was sailed from San Diego to New Zealand and competed in local races.

She is of carbon fiber composite construction, with loads of interior space and a large workable cockpit and is an exciting and easily handled yacht and a competitive IRC racer. This yacht is very fast for its size with excellent handling ability and an emphasis on light-air performance with substantial downwind sail area. The deck layout is designed for racing with twin wheels and twin primary grinder pedestals.   The current owners have moved on to other vessels now, after their ownership of 5 years. A custom cradle has been built for her and will be part of the sale for shipping if needed.
